Each votive will burn 16-20 hours! You will achieve the longest burn time by making sure the container you put the votive in is approximately the same diameter as the votive. Once the wax is warmed it will liquify. If the container is too large, the liquid will drain away from the wick creating a higher flame and a shorter burn time. VegewaxTM is a hard, NON-OILY wax that does not stick to votive containers. Once your votive has cooled and all of the wax has hardened again, simply turn over the container and tap the bottom - any leftover wax will fall right out! (with some containers, you may have to gently run your fingernail or a plastic knife around the top edge to loosen it). In the last frame of this photo sequence, notice how clean the glass votive holder is. Any wax residue that may be left in the holder will flake off or wash off in regular dishsoap and water. |

Other advantages of the non-oily VegewaxTM formula: No more wasting decorative stones or ruining table cloths!* Wax drippings can even be used in oil burner dishes for extended aroma enjoyment. If the wax spills on non-porous surfaces, it will harden and easily crack off when cooled without leaving any oily residue. Even on most porous surfaces, wax that has run into the surface should wash off with soap and water.** *it is recommended that you always place your candle on a non-flammable surface such as a glass or ceramic plate while burning. **this is not a guarantee - some surfaces may be damaged even by our wax. Please place your candle on a non-flammable drip plate and be careful to not spill wax whenever possible.
